Assessment of high school record as suggestive of college fulfillment options
Meta-level Orientation advising
Research of campus opportunities: academic, student support, extra- and co-curricular
Guidance on setting balanced, appropriate course load
Basic personality testing via CollegePlannerPro or YouScience for greater student self-assessment
Development of executive functioning skills relevant for college, including time management, prioritization, and mapping
Development of study skills, including for content-specific engagement, test-taking, and essay writing
Liaison with disability services as appropriate
Discussion of summer options, including summer classes, internships, jobs, and other experiences
Demystification of the college experience, including grading, critical timelines, and policies and procedures
Weekly Zoom sessions and additional contact via Zoom, phone, and/or texting as called for by student or me; for example, during the two weeks bracketing class start date, midterms, and registration
